4 Soren

Okay, I have no idea how many folks still check in on the blog. And many of you already got this information via email. But I figured, what the hey, I might as well post it in case someone is checking whose email address I don't have!

Many of you know abou my son Soren and his struggles. Well, we are having a fundraiser for him to raise money for a conversion to make our van wheelchair accessible.

It's an Art Show Fundraiser that opens next Saturday the 19th at

Monkeyhouse Toys & Art Gallery
1618 1/2 Silver Lake Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90026
323-662-3437

The opening reception will be from 5-9 pm. There will be food, wine, and a DJ. And, most importantly, AWESOME ART!!! A bunch of my animation artist friends have contributed their amazing pieces--from original paintings to prints to handmade (adorable) dolls. There's going to be stuff by...

Craig McCracken, creator of The Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
Van Partible, creator of Johnny Bravo
Chris Reccardi, from Ren and Stimpy (and TONS of other shows)
Chris Savino and Paul Rudish, from Powerpuff, Dexter's Lab and MANY other shows
I've even heard that there's going to be a Family Guy poster signed by everyone on the show.

AND, just added, our own Shellaine Corwell has donated a bunch of her jewelry from her Trophy Girl jewelry line. This stuff is SO COOL I want to buy it all!

Seriously, there's going to be some freakin' cool stuff at a variety of prices. And all the money goes to Soren!

So here's the postcard and info...

For those of you unable to attend, the art will be for sale by the 19th on the Monkeyhouse website at
